KARACHI: Lieutenant General (retd) Hameed Gul said those who have sheltered and nurtured Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain will be questioned.

In an exclusive interview with Saleem Safi on Geo News programme ‘Jirga’, Gul said that he would not call Altaf an agent.

He went on to say that he met the MQM chief in London in 1992, adding that Altaf told him that he used to acquire the visas for MQM leaders Amir Khan and Afaq Ahmed.

According to Gul, Altaf also told him that the US counselor used to come to him and they used to sell visas in about Rs 200,000.

Speaking regarding former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, Gul said that he has inflicted the most damage to Pakistan.

He went on to say that Musharraf double crossed the US as he deviated from the Kashmir policy.
