Met Office says heatwave weakening

KARACHI: The scorching heat-wave that has gripped Karachi and parts of Sindh is weakening, according to the Met Office on Tuesday.

The Met Office said that sea breeze has started blowing in and various cities of Sindh including Karachi will receive rainfall.

The province of Balochistan will also receive rainfall today onwards.

KARACHI: The scorching heat-wave that has gripped Karachi and parts of Sindh is weakening, according to the Met Office on Tuesday.

The Met Office said that sea breeze has started blowing in and various cities of Sindh including Karachi will receive rainfall.

The province of Balochistan will also receive rainfall today onwards.

Meanwhile, monsoon rain was also reported today in different parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Met Office, Chakwal has received 37 mm, Murree 30, Muzaffarabad 36, Kotli 13, Bahawalpur and Bhakkar 11, Ghari Dupatta 10, Dera Ghazi Khan 9, Dera Ismail Khan 7, Cherat 6, Rawalakot 5, Jauhar Abad and Balakot 4, Saidu 2, Bannu 5, Sibi 22 and Zhob 7 mm.

The weather in Lahore also turned ideal late morning as heavy, dark clouds cover the sky with most parts of the city receiving light to moderate rainfall with cold winds.
