Axact scandal: FIA prepares initial report

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has prepared its initial report of the Axact scandal.

The FIA had launched an investigation of Axact after a New York Times article claimed the Pakistani IT company had made millions by selling fake degrees through online schools and universities.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has prepared its initial report of the Axact scandal.

The FIA had launched an investigation of Axact after a New York Times article claimed the Pakistani IT company had made millions by selling fake degrees through online schools and universities.

The FIA will present its initial report to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday who is expected to address the media afterwards.

DG FIA Akbar Hoti said a First Information Report (FIR) of the Axact scandal will be lodged later today (Saturday) after which a decision to arrest accused individuals will be made.
