LAHORE: Taking a dig at Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for his absence from nation scene, which many attribute to his differences with party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shireen Mazari said though minister’s appearance is a welcome sign, he must visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to witness the obvious change.
Giving her reaction to Nisar Ali Khan’s press talk, she said the minister should have visited Karachi instead of his constituency.
“Chaudhry Nisar showed up after a long while for which PTI welcomes him. It would be appropriate if he had visited Karachi which has passed through havoc, but the home minister didn’t bother to give even a statement about it,” said she.
The PTI leader said Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been depoliticized where honest officers are given respect in the department.
