BESHAM: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan Tuesday said his party’s cause for a ‘new Pakistan’ actually refers to the transformation of the entire system.

“For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a local bodies system is being brought about which will stamp out slavery and make the people experience freedom in its true spirit,” Imran Khan explained while addressing a public meeting here.

He said the upcoming local bodies elections will not just be the conventional polls but the exercise will usher in an era of a revolution.

Khan said the only difference between the developed nations and Pakistan is that of the system.

“The future decisions will not be made by Imran Khan but the masses,” he said, adding, ‘you will be the ones who would be constructing roads and executing uplift projects.

He regretted that country’s 30 million children are out of school and yet some leaders are engaged in the business of selling Islam while some are selling out diesel permits.

Directing his attention to the youth, he said only cast your vote in favour of an individual that is upright and honest so that the development funds end up being channeled to the judicious use.

He said the next few days will prove that the people’s mandate had been snatched.

Earlier, Imran Khan addressed another rally in Kohistan.

On the occasion, a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Malik Aurangzaib, announced coming into the fold of PTI.
