QUETTA: Family of death row prisoner Saulat Mirza held meeting with him in Mach jail on Tuesday, sources told Geo News.
It was first meeting of the family with Mirza after newly constituted Joint Investigation Team (JIT) interrogated him following delay in his execution.
Sources said it was a prolonged meeting of Mirza with his family, where he was seen satisfied. During the meeting, he informed his wife about the interrogation by JIT and said that he had done job of his side.
A joint investigation team (JIT) led by DIG Traffic Karachi Dr Amir Sheikh and comprises SSP Special Branch, SP CID, ISI, MI and IB officials.
The JIT was formed to probe startling revelations unearthed by Saulat Mirza hours before his scheduled execution on March 19. Mirza hurled serious allegations at Muttahida Qaumi Movement and its chief Altaf Hussain in a confession video.
