Sindh apex committee meeting reviews NAP progress

KARACHI: A Sindh apex committee meeting to review the National Action Plan (NAP) was held at the Chief Minister House in Karachi on Friday.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Corps Commander Karachi, DG Rangers, and other provincial ministers attended the meeting.

KARACHI: A Sindh apex committee meeting to review the National Action Plan (NAP) was held at the Chief Minister House in Karachi on Friday.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Corps Commander Karachi, DG Rangers, and other provincial ministers attended the meeting.

According to sources, a briefing was given about the operation in Karachi.

The meeting also reviewed sending more cases to military courts.

It was decided during the meeting that an immediate ban would be enforced on public display of weapons in Karachi as well as rest of Sindh.

Strict action will be taken against those breaking the enforced rule.

A firm decision was also taken to launch a crackdown against the financers of terrorists in the province.
