ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has requested Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to deploy Rangers for polls in NA-246, saying that PTI does not trust police.

Talking to media outside his Bani Gala residence Thursday, Imran Khan vowed to contest elections in Karachi at all cost, saying that “we have right to contest polls. MQM must decide whether it want democracy or politics of fear.”

The PTI chief suggested Altaf Hussain that the time has come to take significant decision for the MQM, saying latter’s party has to decide whether it wants to remain with an armed wing or go along with the democracy.

Imran also invited MQM chief Altaf Hussain to contest elections from Mianwali, hometown of PTI chief, saying that his party would cooperate with the latter.

Commenting on Yemen crisis, Imran said "I read in the newspapers that a decision has been taken to send troops to Saudi Arabia.". He added Pakistan was pushed in the US war against terrorism by telling lies with the nation.

He said Pakistan should play a role of mediator to restore peace in Yemen instead of participating in the conflict.

Imran Khan has also felicitated Barrister Sultan over his victory in Azad
Kashmir and said it was the first success of PTI in the valley.

"The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had casted 7 million fake votes in the 2013 General elections", Imran alleged. He said his party would approach Judicial Commission, formed to probe alleged rigging with the full preparations.
