Pakistan executes four more murder convicts

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Thursday sent four condemned prisoners to gallows in Rawalpindi and Mianwali, separately.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Thursday sent four condemned prisoners to gallows in Rawalpindi and Mianwali, separately.

Three murder convicts were hanged to death in Adiala jail Rawalpindi while one was executed in Mianwali central jail.

According to Adiala jail officials, condemned prisoner Gulistan Khan had killed two people in Kalar Saeeda while a murder case was registered against two brothers Muhammad Asghar and Ghulam Muhamamd at Jatli police station.

Separately, a murder convict was also sent to gallows in Mianwali central jail.

Jail sources said condemned prisoner Abdul Sattar was involved in killing of a man over old enmity in 1992. He was sentenced to death in 1996.
