Court will decide fate of MQM workers: Qaim Ali Shah

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah with regards to the raid on Nine Zero said on Friday that the Rangers and Sindh Police have complete authority over Karachi’s administration.

Speaking to the media after the 87th passing out parade ceremony at the Police Training Centre Saeedabad, he said that the matter of arrest of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers is now in court and hence the court will decide their fate.





The CM Sindh went on to say that the investigation into the murder of MQM worker Waqas Shah will be carried out in a transparent manner.

Qaim Ali Shah further said that several police and Rangers personnel have sacrificed their lives for the cause of peace in the province.

He said that the Sindh government has increased the money given to the families of the martyrs from Rs 2 lac to at least Rs 20 lac, adding that the government is further trying to increase the amount to at least Rs 1 crore.
