Army, Air Chiefs visit North Waziristan
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif and Air Chief, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt visisted North Waziristan met the troops.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army and Air Chiefs were briefed over the ongoing military Zarb-e-Azb operation in the tribal agency. They reviewed progress of the operation and its future plans. They also met troops.
During the visit, they military leadership said, “terrorists will be chased and hit and they will not find any place to hide.”
They reaffirmed commitment to eliminate all terrorists and rid Pakistan from all types of terrorism.
The COAS directed all Commanders and civil agencies to prepare for dignified return of IDPs.
Return of IDPs will commence from 17th and 31st March for South Waziristan Agency and North Waziristan Agency, respectively.
