Govt accepts demands of visually challenged people

LAHORE: The government has accepted all the demands of the visually impaired people after they met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz.

LAHORE: The government has accepted all the demands of the visually impaired people after they met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz.

According to details, the visually challenged people met Hamza Shahbaz in Model Town Lahore on Wednesday.

Talking to newsmen after meeting Hamza, the leader of the protesting group of the visually impaired, Adnan Mehmood, said the government has assured him that they would be given jobs in universities and colleges. He said the assurance has been held out in writing by Hamza Shahbaz.

Meanwhile, the special adviser to the Prime Minister said the visually challenged people will remain the guests of the government until they are provided with jobs. He said the government will advertise jobs for the visually impaired in different departments.
