SIALKOT: Human Rights activist and Chairman Ansar Burney Trust International, Ansar Burney along with his wife visited the Pak-India Working Boundary in Sialkot and met the bereaved families of those martyred by the unprovoked shelling and firing carried out by Indian Army across the border.

During his Sialkot trip, Ansar Burney also visited towns and villages affected by the unprovoked Indian firing along the working boundary and met innocent civilians who had to suffer from Indian aggression.

He called for UN and world attention towards repeated Indian ceasefire violations at the Working Boundary and the Line of Control (LoC). He termed these violations as a distraction for Pakistan from its campaign against terrorism which is adversely affecting regional stability.

While expressing solidarity with the affected villagers, Ansar Burney paid rich tributes to their resilience and spirit. He also said that the entire nation stood behind its armed forces in defending the motherland.

Ansar Burney also visited a graveyard at the border area and offered Fateha for the martyrs.
