Formation of proposed JC can resolve all issues: Khattak

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak on Tuesday said his party had never boycotted the Federal government and that constitution of the proposed judicial commission could resolve all the issues.

Pervez Khattak along with his party colleague Asad Umer held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Asif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar here.

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak on Tuesday said his party had never boycotted the Federal government and that constitution of the proposed judicial commission could resolve all the issues.

Pervez Khattak along with his party colleague Asad Umer held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Asif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar here.

The meeting was focused on matters relating to KP’s flow of revenues from electricity supply and royalty besides the province’s share from tax collection.

Khawaja Asif said the Federal government was committed to resolving issues of all provinces including those of KP.

Later, interacting with media persons, Khawaja Asif said he also took up the issue of KP’s profit returns from Hydel power supply with CM Pervez Khattak.

He said KP owes to Federal government somewhere around Rs1.5 to 2 billion on account of profit from power sector.
