ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that all political parties of the country are united against horse-trading in the upcoming Senate election.
Speaking to the media here, he criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for causing delays in court orders.
“Imran Khan always complains about delay in court orders but he himself is causing delay now,” he said.
Rashid said that the PTI chairman moved a fresh application just when the court was about to announce a ruling in a case pertaining to alleged rigging in the 2013 election.
He said Khan was demanding verification of thumb impressions despite being aware of the fact that it could not be done as the magnetic ink was of substandard.
Replying to a query, he said the PML-N’s Balochistan chapter was in complete discipline and the candidates for Senate election chosen by provincial president Sanaullah Zehri would be the party's choice as well.
