President approves appointment of Justice Faisal, Justice Maqbool Baqar

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has approved appointment of Justice Faisal Arab as Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC), Geo News reported.

The President also gave approval for the appointment of Justice Maqbool Baqar as judge of the Supreme Court while Justice Riaz Ahmed has been made Chief Justice of Federal Shariah Court.

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has approved appointment of Justice Faisal Arab as Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC), Geo News reported.

The President also gave approval for the appointment of Justice Maqbool Baqar as judge of the Supreme Court while Justice Riaz Ahmed has been made Chief Justice of Federal Shariah Court.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had advised the President about the appointments the judges of the higher judiciary.

Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain also gave his consent for the implementation of Army Amendment Act 2015 in the tribal area.
