Five ‘terrorists’ killed in Karachi shootout: Police

KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have killed five terrorists in an exchange of fire in Shah Latif Town area of the city.

Rao Anwar, SSP Malir, told media that two of the terrorists were linked with a Lyari gang while a mastermind of armed attacks on polio teams was also among the dead.

KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have killed five terrorists in an exchange of fire in Shah Latif Town area of the city.

Rao Anwar, SSP Malir, told media that two of the terrorists were linked with a Lyari gang while a mastermind of armed attacks on polio teams was also among the dead.

He said that the shootout took place in Nawab Goth area of the Shah Latif Town. Identities of the deceased were yet to be known.
