Pakistanis won’t accept Indian hegemony : Siraj

PESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq Saturday urged the US President Barack Obama to press India for an end to oppression in occupied Kashmir.

He said 180 million people of Pakistan would never accept the Indian hegemony in the region.

According to a statement issued here, the JI chief said the government had passed 21st constitutional amendment in haste on the basis of majority vote.

Siraj also criticized the government for not accepting JI and other parties' suggestions and said it was inappropriate to relate terrorism with the religion and seminaries.
