Obama expected to discuss LOC firing incidents with India: FO spokesperson

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan expects American president Barak Obama to raise the issue of Indian firing on the Line of Control (LOC) and the working boundary when he reaches India on January 25.

The Foreign office (FO) has expressed concerned over Muslims being burnt alive and a campaign of forced conversions of Muslims and Christians to Hinduism in India.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan expects American president Barak Obama to raise the issue of Indian firing on the Line of Control (LOC) and the working boundary when he reaches India on January 25.

The Foreign office (FO) has expressed concerned over Muslims being burnt alive and a campaign of forced conversions of Muslims and Christians to Hinduism in India.

On his visit to India the American president will meet high government official including the president and the prime minister.

President Obama will be the first American president to attend India’s Republic day celebrations on the 26th of January. He will also be the first American president to visit India twice.

Spokesperson FO, Tasneem Aslam said that on the occasion of former US president Bill Clinton’s visit to India, many Kashmiris were masacared in Chittisinghpura area of the occupied Kashmir so that Pakistan could be blamed for the incident.

The FO spokesperson expected president Obama to discuss with Indian officials the escalation of border tension by Indian forces.
