ISLAMABAD: Federal finance minister Ishaq Dar and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen met to discuss the matter of a judicial commission to investigate poll rigging after which PTI have given seven days to the government to produce an ordinance.

Ishaq Dar talking to media after the meeting said that there was a slight disagreement with PTI on 3 points which could be resolved in just half an hour. He was optimistic that a solution would be found in the national interest.

Jahangir Tareen said that he had received the reply to his letter and both parties would meet again after a detailed review of the draft.

He also said that in an environment of political unity against terrorism, he would like to see the matter of judicial commission resolved as well.

He further said that if an agreement is reached it has been decided that a new ordinance would be presented within 7 days.
