LONDON: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa has said that military operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists is successfully moving ahead and most areas have been cleared, Geo News reported.

Briefing the media men here Friday, DG ISPR Asim Bajwa said Khyber Agency will also be cleared from militants very soon. “The entire nation is united against terrorists”, he said.

Asim Bajwa said Pakistan, before the launch of Zarb-e-Azb, had apprised Afghanistan and ISAF. He added that intelligence sharing is being carried out with Afghanistan.

Relations with Afghanistan are improving, he asserted.

Commenting on military courts, DG ISPR said, “there is democracy in Pakistan and the parliament has approved setting up special courts.” He said all the political parties are united against terrorism.

“Indiscriminate action is being taken against militants, there is not good or bad Taliban”, he added.

Foreign elements are involved in the issues of Balochistan, Bajwa said and added that people sitting outside are creating chaos in the province. The terrorism in Balochistan is not possible without foreign support, he added.

The military spokesman further said Kashmir issue should be resolved for peace and stability in the region.
