Model Town tragedy: PAT announces protest movement
LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will begin a protest movement failure to provide justice to the victims of the Model Town tragedy. The party president Raheeq Abassi made the announcement on Tuesday.
According to Abassi, the protest will begin in Lahore on January 17th. He added that a signature campaign would be launched against those responsible for the Model Town tragedy.

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will begin a protest movement failure to provide justice to the victims of the Model Town tragedy. The party president Raheeq Abassi made the announcement on Tuesday.
According to Abassi, the protest will begin in Lahore on January 17th. He added that a signature campaign would be launched against those responsible for the Model Town tragedy.
At least 14 people lost their lives on 17th June 2014 during clashes between PAT workers and the Punjab Police.
PAT had nominated Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Police officials, members of the provincial administration as well as the provincial government and the federal government in the Model Town FIR.
The Punjab government had suspended Rana Sanaullah as its law minister following the tragedy.
