Two cops among three men dead in Lyari grenade attacks

KARACHI: Three people lost their lives including two policemen as a result of two separate hand grenade attacks in Baghdadi area of Lyari Town here on Monday.

Five others also sustained wounds in the attacks after which shops and businesses were closed down in the neighbourhood, sources said. The attacks sent a wave of terror across the area.

KARACHI: Three people lost their lives including two policemen as a result of two separate hand grenade attacks in Baghdadi area of Lyari Town here on Monday.

Five others also sustained wounds in the attacks after which shops and businesses were closed down in the neighbourhood, sources said. The attacks sent a wave of terror across the area.

The deceased and wounded were taken to a nearby hospital.

Later, the police cordoned off the area.
