Chaudhry brothers meet Zardari in Lahore

LAHORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that it was government’s responsibility to address reservations of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other political parties over new legislation.

Talking to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi who met him at the Bilawal House, he said that the war against terrorism needed to be fought despite all the differences among political parties

LAHORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that it was government’s responsibility to address reservations of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other political parties over new legislation.

Talking to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi who met him at the Bilawal House, he said that the war against terrorism needed to be fought despite all the differences among political parties as no war could be won without national consensus.
