Two gang war accused killed in Lyari shootout

KARACHI: Two gang war accused were killed and five police personnel injured in two separate shootouts in Lyari area, Geo News reported.

Police claimed that the accused opened firing on patrolling policeman in Jhatpat market, Kalakot and in retaliatory fire gang war accused identified as Ramzan was killed.

Police said Ramzan belongs to Baba Ladla group and was involved in several cases.

In another incident of exchange of fire, gang war accused Abid alias Abba was killed in Saifee Lane area within the limits of Baghdadi police station.

Police said Abid was involved in more than 10 cases of murder.

Five personnel of Baghdadi police have sustained injuries in exchange of fire with gang war accused and have been rushed to PNS Shifa for treatment since Wednesday evening.
