Deadlock between govt, PTI persists over JC

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said that the deadlock still persists between the government and his party over the matter of Judicial Commission (JC).

Talking to media men after attending National Leadership Conference, chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI will not return to the assemblies until it gets justice.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said that the deadlock still persists between the government and his party over the matter of Judicial Commission (JC).

Talking to media men after attending National Leadership Conference, chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI will not return to the assemblies until it gets justice.

Qureshi said that PTI had reservations over the May 11 elections, adding that his party had shown flexibility as its leadership wanted to resolve the issue. However, he said, even today he witnessed non-serious attitude of the government.

PTI leader said that keeping national interest supreme, his party chief Imran Khan wholeheartedly participated in the meeting.
