I have learnt that a protest is being organised across the country on the 24th to protest against my illegal detention by NAB. I am requesting all journalists, human rights activists, legal fraternity, professional associations to look after yourselves and follow the directives of healthcare professionals regarding your and the public's safety. I would like to thank you for all your support and best wishes for the struggle for freedom of press and expression that we are all part of it and that continues. However, at this time I am requesting you to call off the protest and support the government's health and safety directives and unite to safeguard the people.
