It’s the best time of year! Dress to celebrate your inner goth, your secret witch, your Halloween-loving soul…

O

ne of the best things about this season is that wardrobes change drastically. All the greys and blacks come out to play, and the always-popular bitten lipstains and dark lashes and lids make an appearance too. So while it isn’t quite that chilly just yet, the simple arrival of October is permission to dress a little more winter. We’ve rounded up some styles we think you need to check out right now!

Templeroad’s Swing Dress

The label defines itself as cottagecore, and we can’t disagree, even if the whole aesthetic is a little on the cottagecore side. What we like about the Swing Dress, which we realize is rather popular among those familiar with Templeroad, is the way it falls, and the perfect silhouette it would give any shape or size. Styles are selling out fast, but the plaid here is autumn-perfect, and totally workable for winter too, paired with boots and a jacket, or a soft cardi and softer, dreamier braids and makeup.

Generation’s Madeline Kurta

A really classic-cut kurta, what we love about this piece is this lovely, vintage-y print, and all the potential it has to be dressed up for everything from work to coffee to even a smart dinner. The website indicates there are very few pieces left, so get clicking!

Lahori Ink’s Rangeen Sweatshirt

We’ve long been fans of Lahori Ink’s graphic tees, and of course turned to the online shop for some winter shopping, and to check if their Ag Laawan Majboori tee was finally available in black (it should be!). What we found was this, among others, embroidered sweatshirt, which seems perfect for crisp mornings and evenings, can be worked to look both stylish and super casual, and best of all, we noticed for the first time that Lahori Ink tries to follow a zero waste model and uses leftover materials from export operations to create their pieces.

Edge by Ego’s Skull Top

Guys, it’s Halloween season. Even if you have no interest in anything spooky, but some interest in looking really cool, we recommend giving this top a shot, and being nonchalantly stylish whenever you wear it.
