This week, we love…

Trying to figure out your next work-to-dinner outfit or what to binge on Netflix? You’ve come to the right place!

This week, we love…

This fusion co-ord by GoSnapp

We know that life is not as going from day to night and office to sushi as we imagined it would be, but things have a way of happening and sometimes we do end up doing just that. Ideally, one would get to go home and do a real nice winged eyeliner – which if you know how to do please send tips – and slip into a beautiful outfit, but life, as ever, is never fair, and sometimes we must make do with what we have.

Which segues nicely into the black fusion coord from our new favorite design house on one of our many open tabs: GoSnapp. In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re really feeling the GoSnapp design sense and sensibility and want to buy everything they have. But as a happy compromise for ourselves, this particular outfit works on several levels.

This week, we love…

It’s black, which means it will actually do that day-to-night transition well, and the top is both buttoned and collared so it looks professional, and just kinda cool when off-duty. The dealmaker here are the pants, which are an interesting tulip-meets-harem cut, and lend the outfit its ‘fusion’ title rightfully.

The fabric is marina, and while we think GoSnapp could work on their finishing (too many uncut threads in the button holes and so on), this is one of those outfits that retailing at over Rs 5000, can be a real style investment.

The fabulous lives of devils in Ohio!

This week, we love…

Ohio – not just famous for its potatoes, but also its devil-worshippin’ ways, apparently. The Devil In Ohio, starring Emily Deschanel, Madeline Arthur, Xaria Doston, Sam Jaeger, and Gerardo Celasco in pivotal characters is the perfect blend of creepy and suspenseful to have helped us make it past three episodes. That is a real litmus test BTW – if a series doesn’t have you coming back for more, does it even deserve to be referred to as a series?

The story begins with a Jane Doe, who escapes to a highway with a knife in her hand, and is admitted to the hospital with serious wounds. And we mean serious.

There is a pentagram on this girl’s back and while she knows who did it and why, she won’t tell! Don’t take our review as the standard here please, because that last sentence would psych us out of watching the show.

Next, turn to The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Who doesn’t love themselves some time with Maheep, Seema, Bhavna and sometimes Neelam? P.s. we had to put Neelam there because she’s part of the lineup but dear god what is that accent and can Karan Johar give her a movie already? Which reminds us of that whole storyline where Priyanka Chopra’s character in Salam e Ishq just wants Karan Johar to give her a role, and when he does, she’s too lovelorn to take it, because she only wasted her entire life playing sexy entertainer girl at parties so she could go marry Salman Khan’s character and set fire to her dreams? KJo can safely offer a film to Neelam though, we don’t exactly think she would give up an entire career for Sameer Soni.
