*A Musical Journey with Natasha Noorani on Sunday (today) at National History Museum. Start time: 5pm.

Natasha Noorani is an acclaimed musician and ethnomusicologist from Lahore. At the event, she will walk the audience through the museum’s Popular Culture Exhibit and offer insights about Pakistani pop music.

In this “curated walk,” the visitors will be able to learn from Noorani’s experience with ethnomusicology and deep knowledge of the cultural and economic infrastructure of Pakistani music, much of which she has helped set up through her work at the Lahore Music Meet and Coke Studio, among others.

*Marhoom Ki Yaad, a theatre play, will be performed on July 27

at Alhamra Arts Council, Mall. Start time: 6:30pm.

The play, which is said to be a theatrical tribute to the great Urdu humorist,

Patras Bukhari, is part of the ongoing Alhamra Theatre Festival.

There is no entry fee.

*Art of Acting — Kids Edition kicks off on July 30 at Ajoka Institute, Lahore.

The duration of the course is two months. Classes will be held on Fridays and Saturdays only. Timings: 5:30pm-7:30pm.

The course will culminate in a “well publicised, unique and

fun-filled public performance.”

The course is for children aged 7 to 12 years.

Fee: Rs 6,000 per month.
