Everyone from Rihanna to Drew Barrymore has one, not to mention local figures like Nabila and Masarrat Misbah who each have successful makeup ranges.
This week we look at four actors who have their own cosmetic brands that are offering a number of products for personal care and beautification.
Since stepping into the beauty business as a stylist in the late ‘80s, the veteran actor has gone on to create her own line of cosmetics. With the aim of providing “good quality products at affordable prices”, Atiqa Odho Cosmetics initially started with a set of lipsticks formulated for the Asian skin tone. The brand now offers a wide assortment of makeup and nail care products as well as clothing items and accessories.
Actress and singer Komal Rizvi entered the skincare world with three products: a glow serum, a moisturising cream and a sunblock. She has since expanded her brand – which was developed with the help of chemists in Canada and is made in Spain – to a range of products not just for women but men as well. Just a few weeks ago she launched the men’s care line Shoaib Malik by TrulyKomal in collaboration with the famous cricketer.
Is there anything Nadia Hussain can’t do? The model and actress is not only a big name in the entertainment industry but she is also a practicing dentist! And she also has a line of cosmetics by the name of Bling that offers a range of makeup including lipsticks and eyeshadows.
The Bulbulay actress recently launched her cosmetics brand, Ayesha O Beauty, a set of natural skin care products that are vegan and cruelty free. The collection includes a body lotion, lip balm, moisturising gel, face wash, and much more, and was created in collaboration with skincare experts with the aim of harnessing the power of nature for beauty and wellness.
