*Char Chaukay Bees, a film festival organised by Olomopolo Media in collaboration with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, begins March 26 with a red-carpet event at Olo Junction,

Muslim Town. Timings: 7pm-9:30pm.

The event is part of Olomopolo’s “fiction film fellowship” programme wherein “16 young filmmakers and four critically acclaimed directors come together to produce 20 powerful and heartwarming short films under the theme:

Being yourself: The Right to Love.”

The event is curated by Sarmad Khoosat, Mehreen Jabbar, Farjad Nabi, Meenu Gaur and Fawzia Mirza. The younger filmmakers whose works will be showcased include Vicky Zhuang Yi-Yin, Awais Gohar, Sana Jafri and Fazal Ahmad.
