Calligraphy Open Day shall be held on Sunday (today) at Darussalam. Timings: 11am-12pm. Venue address: 36-B Lower Mall, Secretariat Metro Stop.

Hosted by Okasha Calligraphy Foundation, the Calligraphy Open Day is free, and “every calligraphy enthusiast can come and join us.”

The highlights of the 1-hour, weekly programme include “Free Arabic and English Calligraphy Discussion as well as coaching.”

Tea and coffee are on the house.

Socially distanced art classes continue on Sundays at the House of NANNAs for limited attendance with masks. Timings: 11am to 2pm.

Drawing boards and benches are provided. Bring your own lunch and some soap cakes for the needy.

The classes are held under the tutelage of senior artist and conservationist Dr Ajaz Anwar.
