Trending this week
In 2004, American pop band released the single, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ and we have to be honest, that’s exactly
how we feel like right now. Summer is dragging its feet, delaying the handover to autumn and the last few sultry weeks are weighing heavy. Despite the desultory atmosphere we can count on the lives of the sartorially successful to add some colour to otherwise dreadfully dull week. Here’s who brightened up our timeline with their outfits this week…
Blogger/influencer Anusheh Shahid has long been our girl crush with her effortless style and legs for days. Here, she makes a basic travel outfit look chic: mom jeans, sneakers, a hoodie and a waist bag. To be honest though, Shahid’s background does all the hard work and soothes our city-dweller eyes with it bright shades of blue and green.
Our favourite Ayesha Omar is a laughing, happy Ayesha. We love the actor’s gleeful vibe and wouldn’t mind being in on a joke that makes her laugh like that. Her pistachio shalwar kameez, easy bun and matching flats are an easy, breezy summer look that can emulated.
Model Abeer Rizvi is certainly serving looks in this tie and dye matching set. From the magenta and rust colour combination to the unbutton shirt revealing flat abs and the tiny purse over the shoulder, nonchalance works its magic through-out the outfit, elevating it to cool-girl status. We love her dark aviators and notice that the era of pastel, tiny shades is over; big, dark glasses are back in fashion.
While a black hoodie and denim seems to be the staple for enjoying Pakistan’s scenic northern areas, we’re taken by Mustehsen’s crocs and coloured ballons. Never thought any version of the crocs sandal would ever make it to our style list but as it turns out, you live and learn ladies!
