MADS Audition Call ’20, a two-day activity hosted by Surkha Ghar and Mad Mask Theatre,

shall be held online starting August 28. Timing: 4pm-11pm.

According to the organisers, anyone can find the link to the event and join in.

The call for auditions is for Mad Mask Theatre’s new production, titled Circus of Nowhere, and an “adult podcast”. Those interested in applying can send in their short video clips prior to the event, or join the event and “show us your talent live!”

It’s an open call for actors as well as technical staff such as directors of photography, dancers/choreographers, movie editor, musicians, and standup comedians.

Socially distanced art classes continue on Sundays at the House of NANNAs for limited attendance with masks. Timing: 11am-2pm.

Drawing boards and benches are provided. Bring your own lunch and some soap cakes for the needy.

The classes are held under the tutelage of senior artist and conservationist Dr Ajaz Anwar.
