Kufic Calligraphy Competition 2020 — Pakistan, hosted by the Contemporary Art Studio, shall be held online on August 10. Timing: 12pm-3pm.
This online calligraphy competition is designed “to engage people in an artistic activity to bring excitement in their lives.”
The participating artists need to share only their names, sizes and mediums of art work, titles of their work, and high-resolution image of their artwork.
A fee of Rs 200 must be submitted online through JazzCash.
Online Agile Training, a two-hour long session, shall be held on August 11. Timing: 7pm-9pm.
The event is jointly organised by Shahrukh Technologies and Pakistan Agile Scrum Exchange (PASE). Zeeshan Ilyas, the founder of PASE, will be the lead trainer at the event. He has over 19 years of global experience in Agile and Digital transformation projects. He specialises in scaling ‘scrum’ and ‘agile’ coaching/training.
The session will give the participants, startup founders and professionals an opportunity to learn key concepts of ‘agile’ methodology followed by an interactive Q&A session. The participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
The training is free for the selected candidates.
Socially distanced art classes continue on Sundays at the House of NANNAs for limited attendance with masks. Timing: 11am-2pm.
Drawing boards and benches are provided. Bring your own lunch and some soap cakes for the needy.
The classes are held under the tutelage of senior artist and conservationist Dr Ajaz Anwar.
