Events in Lahore this week

Free art classes  are now held virtually, via video-conferencing, due to lockdown on Sunday (today) from the House of NANNAs. Timings: 11 am to 2 pm. The classes are held under the tutelage of senior artist and conservationist Dr Ajaz Anwar.

Let Your Voice Be Heard, an online self-help support group for individuals affected by speech impediments, hosted by British Council Library and Stammer Talk, shall be held on April 20. Timings: 3pm-5pm.

The programme shall be conducted via zoom link, which will be shared with the registered participants through an email by British Council Library team. It shall comprise two sessions of 40 minutes each. Session 1 is introductory, and Session 2 is on therapy and exercises. The event is meant for those with speech disorders.

The online speech therapy support group will be moderated by persons who have experience in overcoming speech impediments. Stammer Talk conducts speech therapy sessions for individuals with speech issues such as stuttering and stammering. Their self-help approach aids individuals in achieving fluency in speech and live their lives to the fullest.

The event is free, open to the public and appropriate for ages 18 and above.

Prior registration is mandatory. Registration will close on Sunday (today) by 11:55 pm sharp
