Next Gen Gig Volume 1

on Sunday (today) at Club 313. Timings: 7pm-10pm. Venue address: 237 FF, Commercial Area, DHA, Phase IV.

The event features live performances by the musical duo of Hassan and Roshaan along with heavy rap by Maanu.

Ticket: Rs 1,000 (food included).


a poster-making cum open mic event themed on feminism, shall be held on March 5 at Olo Junction. Timings: 7pm-9pm. Venue address: 43-A, Block D, New Muslim Town.

The event is about “bold stories, historical rage, shared experiences and rallying poetry.” The stated aim of the event is “to provide a safe space for expression forged out of art, complete with a pre-open-mic poster-making session.”

The Last Follower premiere

on March 5 at GC University, Lahore. Timings: 1pm-4pm.

The independent film is said to be Pakistan’s first Harry Potter fan film. It’s a project of some former students of GCU, who chose to shoot the film on the campus because of its Gothic architecture.

A Tribute to Farida Khanum

shall be held on March 4 at Alhamra, The Mall. Timings: 5pm-7pm.

The event marks a series of musical performances dedicated to the legends of yesteryear. The performers include Ali Sethi.

Passes are available at the Alhamra Admin Block.

The Outsiders by Gillian Rhodes Dance Company Auditions

will take place on March 7 at Olo Junction. Timings: 11:30am-5pm.

The event is a casting call to “male and female dancers” for The Outsiders, “a movement-based play” to be performed in April.

It is said to be a paid project.

Gillian Rhodes is an American choreographer who has been working globally for the past seven years. She has performed twice at TEDx events and has brought groups to multiple international festivals. She has been based in Pakistan since 2018. Previously, she has choreographed dances for various stage plays, notably Blood Brothers, and Sarmad Khoosat’s upcoming feature, Kamli.
