the past week saw a number of exciting happenings.
Singer and actress Rachel Viccaji, who made her cinematic debut with Asim Raza’s Parey Hut Love, recently tied the knot with Ashar Kazi in an intimate affair. Rachel looked gorgeous in a white bridal gown, while the groom chose a blue suit for the big day. The couple is seen here with Asim Raza and Sheheryar Munawwar.
Filmmaker, writer and theatre practitioner Hamza Bangash’s latest short film, Stray Dogs Come Out at Night, had its world premiere at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival in France this past week. It is the first Pakistani film to be selected in the history of the festival. Clermont-Ferrand is the world's biggest festival dedicated exclusively to short films, and is considered to be the Cannes of the short(s) film industry.
Last week Adnan Ansari, an award-winning production designer and events director, hosted a brunch in Karachi, which was a star-speckled affair. Some of the celebrities who were spotted at the brunch included Sunita Marshall, Fouzia Aman, Ayesha Toor, renowned stylist Nabila and many others. While model and actress Sunita chose an all-white outfit by Verve Official that she paired with a gold belt, model Fouzia Aman looked effortless chic in fuchsia pink jacket by designer Humayun Alamgir.
