 Creative Writing Workshop by Adania Shibli (Germany),

hosted by Annemarie Schimmel Haus and Olomopolo Media, shall be held on February 7 at Olo Junction. Timing: 5pm-6:30pm. Venue address: 43-A,

Shibli is a Palestinian-born fiction writer who has been published variously in literary journals in the Arab world and Europe. She has also been awarded the Qattan Young Writer’s Award-Palestine twice.

 Shehr e Tabassum Screening

shall be held on February 7 at Olo Junction. Timing: 7:30pm-9pm.

The short film is about “a city of apparent prosperity and technological marvel but one where citizens are under great scrutiny and their bodies are policed at all times; where the act of not smiling is an act against the state… ”
