*The Last Word Open Mic: ‘New Beginnings’

shall be held on Sunday (today) at The Last Word.

Timing: 7pm-8pm.

The event is a talk session on “What it is to be on a clean slate and walk into a decade with endless possibilities!” The participants are expected to share their New Year resolutions.

*Heritage Street Bhati Gate Tour,

hosted by the Walled City of Lahore Authority, shall be held on Sunday (today) from Fort Road Food Street. Timing: 11am-2pm.

It’s a guided tour to the Gali of Maulana Roohi, Haveli Kunwar Nau Nehal Singh, Bhaiyyon Wala Maidan, Katri Mela Ram, Mohallah Patrangan, Mohalla Chomala, the shop of legendary singer Rafi, Oonchi Masjid, Qamar Manzil, Jogi Mohalla, Faqir Khana Museum, Tharra Allama Iqbal, and many other historical sites.

Ticket: Rs1,500 (including brunch at Cooco’s Den). Tickets can be bought from the WCLA office — 54-Lawrence Road.

*‘Kuch Yaadein, Kuch Baatein,’

a session with Amjad Islam Amjad, shall be held on January 24 at Alhamra, Hall 3, The Mall. Timing: 4pm-5pm.

The event is the fifth session of the monthly series of lectures on

literature and culture.

Entry is on first-come-first-served basis.
