With the festive season on its last leg, all things style-related certainly are gearing up in full force. The 3-day Fashion Pakistan Week is kicking off this week, on March 12 to be exact, with a solo Sana Safinaz show but even this past week witnessed enough activity to wave a flag for all fashionable things to come.

 

Nadia Hussain launches NH Bling

Fashion’s favourite supermodel Nadia Hussain expanded her already impressive portfolio by launching her very own makeup line. Starting off with two 2 variant products – Liquid Matte Glitter Lipstick and Liquid Matte Glitter Eye shadow - the line is bold and glamorous, an easy reflection of who Nadia Hussain is. "I’ve always been known for my blingy style and personality so it was appropriate for me to name my first makeup brand, ‘NH Bling’," she said.

 

Diamonds still are a girl’s best friend

An elegant little show at Cafe Flo introduced Inherit Fine Diamond Jewellery, a brand that has existed since 2005. The collection of classic, timeless pieces of jewellery was displayed by a troupe of Pakistan’s top models, who wore the pieces against glamorous black outfits. A chic evening, attended by Aangan star Ahsan Khan, HSY - who’s about to make his film debut - and fashion designer Nida Azwer, the show just went on to prove that no matter what trends, diamonds are forever.

 

Chapter 2 Punjab Polo Cup 2019

This year fashion brand Chapter 2 collaborated with the Lahore Polo Club as patrons of the King of Sports to present the Chapter 2 Punjab Polo Cup Tournament 2019.  Prior to the final match played on Sunday 24 Feb, Chapter 2 hosted a fantastic lunch attended by members from the art, fashion, literary, sport, design, music and sports communities, many of whom turned up wearing the brand’s distinctive designs.

 

Huma Adnan launches new line of Craft Stories

Huma Adnan, best known for her eponymous brand FnkAsia, has been working in collaboration with the UNHCR to economically empower the hundreds of thousands of refugees stationed in Karachi. Working with them to develop a range of handcrafted jewellery - under the label ‘Craft Stories’ - the designer hosted a sundowner at her residence to feature the new collection, which was bright, colourful and very chic.
