Benazir’s murder myth and reality

Even in this modern age of digital technology myths are still mightier than the reality; so is the case of Benazir Bhutto’s murder. The facts of the case are crystal clear, murderers and perpetrators have specifically been identified but we continue to believe fallacies, myths and lies because they suit the figments of imagination.

BB’s is the only high profile political murder which has been investigated thoroughly and professionally by top national and international investigation agencies. The best forensic laboratories of the world, including those in England and USA, analysed the exhibits sent from Pakistan and their reports helped resolve almost all questions relating to this high profile murder.

The United Nations team headed by Chilean diplomat Heraldo Munoz recorded the events leading to the murder in such clarity and minute detail that nothing remains hidden. The UN inquiry is so bold and daring that it has not spared serving military officers over the washing of the crime scene and the presence of the ISI station chief at the Rawalpindi hospital where injured Benazir Bhutto was brought for treatment.

Pakistan’s top military investigative agencies, two joint investigation teams (JIT-1 and JIT-2) and the special branch came out with irrefutable facts and the minutest details of the murder which gave satisfactory answers to unexplained questions relating to the full trail of the murder conspiracy.

The UN inquiry report’s straightforwardness created ripples among the Pakistani establishment. President Asif Ali Zardari was forced by General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani to write a letter to the UN to review its findings regarding the role of Pakistani establishment in the murder conspiracy. Surprisingly, the UN held its ground and rejected the request and stuck to the original inquiry report.

The internationally reputed investigating agency, Scotland Yard separately worked on the forensic and scientific side of the murder, studying Benazir Bhutto’s head wound and the DNA of the suicide bomber. They matched her previous dental reports with her samples after the murder. With scientific study they proved that no bullet hit Benazir Bhutto though three were aimed at her. She died of the impact of the escape hatch, which went straight into her head.

This report concluded that the injury to the head exactly matched the size of escape hatch. This report further said that the bomb blast created more than 50 Newton energy -- the force of which made the escape hatch hit her skull and pierced in the right side of the brain causing her immediate death. They also proved that the same hitman who fired gunshots at BB exploded his suicide jacket. The DNA of the murderer, Saeed alias Bilal, aged 15 and a half (reference: Scotland Yard radiographer) proved that he belonged to the Waziristan Agency.

Pakistan’s top military investigative agencies, two joint investigation teams (JIT-1 and JIT-2) and the special branch came out with irrefutable facts and the minutest details of the murder which gave satisfactory answers to unexplained questions relating to the full trail of the murder conspiracy.

Saeed alias Bilal was brought to Liaqat Bagh by two Pashtun cousins -- Rafaqat and Husnain. Rafaqat was a taxi driver and a Taliban facilitator who had earlier provided logistical support to two suicide bombers to explode in Rawalpindi on different occasions. These two cousins were motivated and guided by two Taliban die-hard facilitators -- Qari Nadir alias Ismail and Nasrullah alias Ahmed -- residents of Jamia Haqqania Akora Khattak. All four facilitators were arrested and all of them gave confessional statements.

Rafaqat and Husnain are under arrest in Adiala jail Rawalpindi. A recent court decision had declared them innocent in the case. Later, the PPP and the government filed appeals against this decision.

The two senior Taliban facilitators -- Qari Nadir alias Ismail and Nasrullah alias Ahmed -- were arrested by the agencies and were later mysteriously killed by paramilitary troops in 2009.

The investigators have full telephone records of these facilitators to Baitullah Mehsud and other Taliban networks.

It was Ayman al Zawahiri’s right hand man, Mustafa Abu Yazid (real name Abu Saed ul Misri), who called Saleem Shahzad, the journalist slained later, and claimed responsibility of Benazir Bhutto’s murder. He said the murder was carried out on the orders of al Qaeda Chief, Ayman al Zawahiri. The story goes that al Qaeda called an emergency meeting of different factions of the Taliban and gave these groups the task to kill Benazir Bhutto.

Al Qaeda told these groups that Benazir Bhutto was an American agent and she wanted to eliminate Taliban on the behest of the US. It was decided in the meeting that the murder will be a joint operation of all the factions. Reportedly, the suicide bomber was provided by the Haqqani Network while the Baitullah Mehsud group provided logistical support.

The conspiracy of Benazir Bhutto’s murder trail is proven and it goes to Baitullah Mehsud and Ayman al Zawahiri.

Though the court could not dare to give punishment to the murderers yet God has not given any of the conspirators a long life and most of them have been killed by drones and blasts. Baitullah Mehsud was hit by a drone while Nadir and Nasrullah were killed in a paramilitary attack. The will of God has prevailed and all the killers and conspirators of Benazir Bhutto’s murder who stayed outside the prisons living a free life have been eliminated. The only two left alive are in the safe haven of a man-made prison.
