It’s been trailer launch galore this month from Verna, Arth and most recently the trailer launch of Rangreza which took place in Karachi this past week. The film features three established actors, Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf, Gohar Rasheed along with Ghana Ali and Alyzeh Gabol. This meant that the red carpet was buzzing with stars and their fraternity friends who showed up for support. The Swarovski Sparkling Couture Infinity exhibition also took place in Dubai, which had designers and the media fly out. Here are the memorable looks from this week.

Mahira Khan

Verna releases in November, which means that promotions have begun and we love the way in which this superstar is working every ‘woman in white’ look possible. She wore a white suit for her big L’Oreal announcement at fashion week and she is looking ethereal in this white Zara Shahjahan ethnic look for the promotions of Verna.

Mawra Hocane

Mawra and Muse go together well. The brand represents an experimental yet elegant design ethos, which the starlet carries off pretty well. To the trailer launch, she wore an embellished Muse top with high-waisted black pants. We liked that she wore bright orange heels to add some colour but we do wish she’d kept her hair up in a sleek ponytail which would have really given the look red carpet oomph.

Alyzeh Gabol

Rising star Alyzeh Gabol knows how to put together a look. She wore a white on white cape top and pants and while we may not be a big fan of the silhouette, she pulls it off well and looks elegant. Gabol is veritably glowing; partly with joy of her acting debut and partly at the hands of makeup artist Omayr Waqar.

Naushaba Brohi

Naushaba Brohi flew out to Dubai for the Swarovski Sparkling Couture Infinity exhibition and we loved the way she channelled her brand Inaaya’s ethos in her attire. That handcrafted skirt, studded with mirrors is simply gorgeous and she sure carried it off well.
