The collections went up and down, but we did manage to spot some seriously glamorous style on the Fashion Pakistan Week W/F 2017 red carpet. The gown has thankfully been replaced by the smart trouser and we noticed how some of our favourite style icons sported a variety, each one looking better than the other.

Sarwat Gilani

Sarwat Gilani kept her trousers skinny and black to balance them off with her ultra-uber red tunic, by local clothing brand Rum & Harry. The colour, combined with kimono sleeves and corset belt, made for some red carpet drama that we all enjoyed.

Anusheh Shahid

Anusheh, who’s a blogger and fashionista, has the height and poise to look good in almost everything she wears but it’s doubly delightful that she has impeccable taste. We loved the way she paired her embellished wide leg Khaadi Khaas trousers with a crisp white knotted blouse.

Feroze Khan

He’s one of the hottest young things amongst the new generation of actors and he crosses over to fashion so well because of his sense of style. Feroze Khan made a brief but glitzy red carpet appearance wearing this slate grey body suit by Jazib Qamar. It was youthful and high on energy!

Frieha Altaf and Yasmeen Hashmi

Event manager Frieha Altaf kept things simple with her black trousers and colourful tunic while Yasmeen Hashmi gave us another example of how to wear fancy trousers with a utilitarian shirt. The tied back hair lent her a polished look that worked very well.

Fatima Z Malick

Celebrity trainer Fatima Z Malick walked the catwalk for Sanam Chaudhri and we loved this peridot single shoulder ensemble she chose to wear on the red carpet. It was the perfect balance between skin and bling and of course, it helped that Fatima is so fit!
