Flash Your Style

It’s a known fact that most men don’t like to experiment with bright colours when choosing their wardrobe and why should they if can look this good in black? It’s flattering, can be adopted for any occasion and almost always looks good on everyone. Instep rounds up some of our favourite men in black!

Shah Rukh Khan

You can debate over the success of his latest film but one thing nobody can deny is how incredible Shah Rukh Khan is looking in Jab Harry Met Sejal. For most of the promotional tour of the film as well, SRK kept it casual. At the launch of the film’s song, ‘Beech Beech Mein’, SRK was dressed comfortably in a black, graphic tee, especially designed for the film, paired with dark blue, baggy jeans and converse shoes. SRK looks as cool as a cucumber.

Fawad Khan

By now, we know that Fawad Khan can pull off any look and he’s had tons of experience dressing for the red carpet, thanks to his successful stint in Bollywood and the numerous occasions he’s had to dress up for on the local turf as well. Keeping in mind the youthful, sporty vibe of Pepsi Battle of the Bands, Fawad Khan opted for an indigo bomber jacket with slight distressed black jeans. He’s also keeping up with the times, as can be seen by his choice to wear a pair of white Vans.

Humayun Saeed

Nobody can pull off an eastern look better than Humayun Saeed and we’ve already seen glimpses of how good he looks in the trailer of his upcoming film, Punjab Nai Jaungi. But this east meets west look has definitely caught our attention. For one of his appearances during the promotional tour of PNJ, Saeed chose to throw a structured black jacket over a short black tunic, paired with straight black pants when he came to the set of Mazaaq Raat.

Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba’s  The Dark Tower, based on a novel by Stephen King, has picked up scathing reviews from critics but at least the film got McConaughey’s iconic look down to a T. The all-black ensemble allows McConaughey to look his usual, smoldering self, as opposed to the odd characters he has played in films like Gold and Dallas Buyers Club. Dark Tower may not be so great but McConaughey’s ensembles are still something to look forward to
