Time to fight the blues by wearing them!

Flash Your Style

Got the blues? Well tune out of your frustration and into the serene calmness of aqua heaven by taking style tips from some of our favourite celebs! A cool shade of blue (with a light denim being everyone’s favourite) seems to be the colour of choice this season and we’re so glad to see it on red carpets across the country. Because in this sweltering heat, which other colour screams ‘cool’?

Adnan Malik

Adnan Malik could be called King of Cool in Pakistan as the actor/filmmaker/model has incredible swag and doesn’t need a cool shade of blue to prove it. Regardless, he chooses a blue jacket over an all-white ensemble, a classic that never goes out of style, at the launch of Sapphire Home in Lahore.

Mohsin Ali

Another fashionable celebrity on our radar this week is Mohsin Ali who, like Adnan Malik, uses blue to brighten up an otherwise all-white look. Since Mohsin’s appearance at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiere in Karachi required a more casual look, the designer decided to leave his jacket home and spruce up his look with the help of bright blue loafers.

Amna Ilyas

We love Amna Ilyas on and off the ramp because she looks fantastic no matter where she is. Spotted at the launch of a salon, Bellagio, Amna looked every bit the supermodel she is dressed in an extremely well put together look. What we love the most about her ensemble is how she used blue and white as the base while taking help from her gorgeous tangerine shoes. This shade of coral lip-colour also does justice to her!

Khadijah Shah

It’s only natural to have Khadijah Shah on this list because lately the designer has her pulse on everything. Whether she’s taking her brands Elan and Sapphire to new heights, or introducing a home division called Sapphire Home, Khadijah knows what’s hot and what’s not. She kept it simple in a laid-back and fuss free look at the launch of Sapphire Home. We’re especially loving those boyfriend jeans on her!
