Summer is here and we are all resorting to wearing lawn everywhere because it’s the most comfortable fabric for this weather. However, there are still some occasions where a lawn jora just won’t do and one has to rummage the closet for a comfortable pair of pants, the right cotton shirt or a long pleated skirt to look cool and stay cool. Here are some style lessons from our favourite celebrities on how to dress up in this heat while still looking fabulous!

Hareem Farooq

We love Hareem Farooq’s style almost as much as we love her. The Dobara Phir Se star has proven her impeccable sense of style, time and again. One doesn’t always need a fancy gown to look and feel glamourous and Hareem’s most recent public appearance is proof of that. Dressed comfortably in a white cotton shirt, half tucked in, and the classic skinny jeans, Hareem looked effortlessly chic on the red carpet. She did add a statement piece in the shape of ethnic earrings from Allure by MHT.

Syra Shehroz

Syra Shehroz has a tough job on her hands. She is busy promoting her upcoming film, Chalay Thay Saath in the scorching Karachi heat. This means that the actress has to be careful with the fabrics she chooses to wear. But Syra stands undeterred and is choosing the right colours and right silhouettes that look breathable. While you see her wearing the odd lawn jora or two, Syra is choosing to wear loose cotton tops in light, pastel shades, and wide legged trousers that are perfect for this weather.

Deepika Padukone

We are so envious of Deepika Padukone’s height and slender figure because she looks good in everything she wears. Well, almost everything. Sometimes we see the Piku star making questionable sartorial decisions. However, this occasion isn’t one of them. When Deepika gets it right, she really gets it right. We love how she has tucked in a simple white tee and worn a long, frilly skirt to add some drama to her look. Don’t miss her animal printed stilettos at the bottom!

Anoushey Ashraf

We are used to seeing Anoushey Ashraf all dolled up for the countless red carpets she hosts so it’s refreshing to see her dress down a bit. At the iflix-PTCL partnership event, Anoushey made an appearance wearing a lacy white top with cold shoulders and a pair of black harem pants. We would have personally preferred if she had chosen a less dramatic top for those pants but with Anoushey’s million dollar smile, everything looks good! We also loved her black wedged heels from Michael Kors.
