We’ll be diving into the LSA red carpet (best and worst) next week but until then, here’s what’s been happening… This week we’ve got hotties from all around the globe making us envious with their style (and vacations). Whether it’s designer Sara Shahid making us wish we were near a deep, blue sea or Mahira Khan showing us how red carpet style is done, this week has been all about unapologetic glamour and feel-good clothes.

Time and time again Khan reminds us that with a face like hers it is possible to make even a potato sack look good. Luckily for us though, Khan’s wearing a very haute Monisha Jaising gown. We love the simple, clean silhouette that focuses on Khan’s svelte frame. The rest of the look is equally simple but impactful. Centre parted hair tied at the nape, strappy heels that peek through a sexy side slit and a rather cool pyramid shaped clutch that adds an interesting element of detail to her ensemble. Kudos.

We’ve always been fans of Shahid’s chic, minimalist style. Her look is fuss free but polished. However, notice how Shahid’s style might be classic but it never looks boring or matronly. It’s because the couturier accessorizes to perfection. Here Shahid pairs her bohemian white off shoulder top with a perfectly on trend pair of reflective sunglasses. Her million dollar smile though is what really ties the whole look together for us.

Where: Karachi

This Karachi based model knows how to woo the camera. It doesn’t hurt that Chaudhry’s such a pro that she never looks bad in photographs but it’s important to give credit where it is due. Her pastel Adnan Pardesy outfit hits all the right notes. We love the cut-work kameez that’s been paired with a simple slip and straight pants. Chaudhry’s messily swept back pony and bright pink clutch make this an ensemble that gets full marks from us.

Sharing red carpet space with Mahira Khan at the Vogue Beauty Awards was Katrina Kaif whose trainer really needs to spill some secrets. Kaif looks smoking hot in a red peek-a-boo gown by Romona Keveza. Kaif’s long, luscious locks have been lightly tonged and then set free, while the only accessory we could spot on the star is a chunky, gold ring that makes quite the statement. Keep it simple, keep it fresh. It’s like we’re falling in love with Kaif all over again.
