Red Carpet Edit
Fashion week festivities have just wrapped up and even though the red carpet wasn’t as exciting as we’ve come toexpect, there was still some spectacular styling we spotted. Here’s who made it to the best dressed list this week:
Momina Sibtain
Momina Sibtain, Managing Editor at T Edit, proved her mettle in a silver, armour-inspired Ali Xeeshan outfit fresh off the ramp. Sibtain looked like a glamazon, set in her soft, smoky make-up and metallic bustier top with flared pants. Her Swarovski studded star clutch added a fun balance to an otherwise dramatically edgy outfit. Full marks to Sibtain for pulling off this look!
Aamina Sheikh
Award winning actor, Sheikh had recently been on maternity leave and out of the limelight but since resurfacing the actress has been reclaiming her status as a stylista. She stepped out in a resort white top and flared pants from eponymous label, Mahgul’s latest Oro collection and bowled it out of the park with her sultry looks. She showed her svelte, post-baby body in a low cut crop top, accessorised with Zohra Rahman earrings, a nape-of-the-neck pony and bangs. We love the smoldering makeover.Ayesha Omar
There are definite perks of being a celebrity with fashion designer best friends. Starlet Omar showed up to the FPW red carpet on day three in a look from Generation’s A Dot that Went For A Walk. The all-white outfit featured a sexy bandeau bustier with a mesh shirt on top and slouchy shalwar-pants. Omar added a tribal necklace, two chunky Afghan bangles and white stilettoes to finish off her off-beat ethnic look. Our favourite part about it though was her braided hairdo. You go girl!Marya Javed
Upcoming actor Marya Javed, who stars in the soon to be released Geo epic, Mor Mahal, owned the red carpet in a Generation number. Marya channeled old world charm with her white and red angrakha with voluminous white pants. She opted to go uber traditional by adding a bindi to her silver jhumkas and tribal necklace. Definitely not a look for the faint-hearted, Javed carries this regal ensemble with panache.
